Some people, think being a Founder is Pap en Vleis
You first have to put your name and surname in the Business, that's a major risk .... you than put your credibility in the Business , you than put your personal and education background in the Business
You than expose yourself to critics , positive and negative, that's a major risk , That's when Experience as an Entrepreneur come into play, Good or Bad
Not everyone can be an Entrepreneur or Founder because it's not easy but it's worth it , You must put your personal issues and challenges aside and at times it look and feel like you don't care about family
You have to choose between friends and business associates, you need more business associates than friends , most Billionaires don't have 100 Friends , that's the challenges
The Biggest challenge for the future of the business, who will grow the business, which staff will be ideal for the business, this is all about the business not about your egos and personal issues, you hire the best person for the job even if its someone from another race , group , political party or another business
You than need to find investors or shareholders, those should be people that want to grow with the business, those are people that take the biggest risk, they put money in the business
Your duty as a Founder is to make money for all Shareholders including yourself , you must never get confuse , shareholders put money to make money, they have a legal right to , you share the cake
All the above are just during start up of the business , than you start operations
Some staff will want to highjack the operations, that's normal in all business, go ask anyone , you should be bold at all times , employees are employees
They follow instructions and give input , they have time frames , they get paid for the job and they need to be productive at all times , Value for Money
No Entrepreneur start a Business so workers can be in the toilet for 2 hours a day or on lunch every 30 minutes, if you don't understand this principle, don't start a business
A Boss is not suppose to be loved by employees but respected based on principle, treat every employee the same , race , politics should not influence operations at all times
My personal opinion when dealing with Staff , I always tell them I am the Boss at work you do as I say , when you get paid , you the boss at home , they do as you say .... LOL
My favourite Business example , people know Coke everywhere, the brand , they don't really care about the Founder once the Business go International, Founding Shareholders of Coke made 100 Times there initial Investments and they don't want to be know by public, Coke Shareholders are very Rich if they can spend Billions on Adverts only
Once your follow these and learn from previous experience, you are Ready for Generational Wealth Business that can continue for the next 100 years
Just for the record , it took me 7 years , research, development, what you going to see overnight ... I Said, NO , to many other opportunities because it's all about Generational Wealth .... If you don't come from a Rich Family, A Rich Family should come from you .....
