It all started in a tent on the family farm in November 2011 when Kosie jnr told his parents to get the farm ready as he is coming home to get married on the farm.
The rest was history...
Murasie soon became a very busy wedding venue in Gansbaai.
The youngest daughter also tied the knot on her family farm in 2016.
Having a tent set up for every wedding it quickly became an idea to build a bigger and better venue.
Kosie jnr's mother in law Merle Theunissen designed the Interior of the building.
This weekend coming will be the first wedding taking place in the new revamped building.
Who will be the bride you might ask? None other than the oldest daughter of Nafie and Kosie De Wet. Now they can officially say that they hosted the weddings of all 3 their children.
Here is to many more weddings to follow. May all your grand children also tie the knot at Murasie. The land of Milk and Honey.

Murasie offers a very unique and modern feel to any wedding. Accommodation there are plenty and if you run out, even a camp site with everything you need. This venue is perfect for everyone who want a weekend wedding to spend with family and friends.

We decided to have a styled shoot to introduce the new building before any weddings took place.
Almost all the vendors involved are situated in the Overberg. Here are images of the venue. The styled shoot will be shared soon.
