“I don’t know, but it’s the Love of Dance”...

Joburg City All Stars, formally a Samba Heat Dance Academy event, is an annual dance competition aimed at helping with the promotion of local dancers, in preparation for regional, national and international dance competitions.

Introduced in 2015 by Samba Heat Dance Academy, with a few friends who believed in us (a few names come to mind: MissJ Maele; Thabo Moshepi; Mmami Ntsane; Michelle Braam and a few others), and assistance from APT Dancewear and The Dance Boutique, the event has managed to grow each year, with more and more interesting and exciting educational themes for the local dancer:

2016 - Saving our Rhinos with Dance To Be Wild's Sheila Bath-Upton, and the introduction of the Share With A DAncer drive by TJ Phutsisi-Bhengu and Sva Zakade with initial donations by Angela Toweel (APT Dancewear) and Lesley Montgomery (QueenE SA).
