Why the membrane system is important in Qigong...

Membranes surround our body cells and make sure that our cells are protected, receive all the nutrients they need, release waste products out of the cells and enable the Qi to move freely. Freely flowing Qi and blood are necessary in order for the body to be healthy. This happens with the help of the membrane system.
