Proudly celebrating the 8h annual Fellowship Gathering ....

FORR Fest is so much more than just a music festival; it is a shared adventure to the beautiful coastal village of Malongane, Mozambique. During the festival you will not only have the opportunity to listen to some of the best music currently on offer on the Southern African scene, you will also be able to enjoy fantastic beaches, swim i

n the warm waters of the Indian ocean, scuba dive on some of the best reefs in the world, enjoy a scenic ocean excursion with perhaps the opportunity to swim with dolphins or go test your 4×4 skills in the sand. Bands for the festival are selected for their musical talent and their ability to entertain the crowd. Acoustic sessions during the afternoon will showcase some of the best singer/songwriters while the bands in the evening will have you rocking in no time. The Sunday afternoon shebeen gig, in support of the local village, is always a highlight of the weekend. At the end of the day you will leave Malongane with the knowledge that you had a great adventure and that you truly understand the meaning behind the Fellowship of Rock & Roll.

Our Story

The Fellowship of Rock & Roll was started as an alternative boutique festival in the lovely Ponta Malongane. Nine memorable festivals were hosted between April 2009 and September 2017. Sadly these festivals had to come to an end. The FORR crew was also founding members of the Mieliepop Festival in 2011.

These days the crew still works behind the scenes to promote various musical events and festival and to bring the right people in the industry together. Additionally, we help with the promotion of up and coming artists who we believe have a bright future ahead of them.

We believe that music and festivals give people a unique opportunity to reset their minds and we are proud to play our little role in it. Hope to meet up with you soon where good tunes and good vibes are to be experienced.
