After 20 years of Truth being the forerunner in clubbing in South Africa is the club closing it's doors at the end of 2019. This is a major loss for anyone who have had the opportunity to dance the night away at this iconic venue over the years.

Luckily for us, we can hold our tears back for now as We are Trance will be taking over the legendary Terrace floor for an outdoor day/night event on Saturday 12 October to celebrate Dirkie Coetzee's birthday.

Flying in all the way from the Netherlands is Dutch trance legend Misja Helsloot, who have been part of the global trance community for well over 20 years. In 1998, Misja was handpicked by Tiesto to mix the very first ‘In Trance We Trust’ compilation, released under the mighty black Hole Recordings. Misja became a household name at massive events such as Trance Energy, Impulz, Dance Valley, Nature One, Qontact, Hyperstate and the FFWD Dance Parade of his favorite city, Rotterdam. Alongside Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten, Misja helped shape the Dutch trance scene, a force that stands strong to this very day.

We have selected some of the best homegrown trance talent to join the celebrations on the day and tickets are only R250 + booking fee for this special event. Room4 and Upstairs will also be open from 21:00 and ticket holders will have access to the full club experience including the main event starting from 14:00.

Join as as we carve our names in history by hosting the very last Trance event on the Terrace at Truth.
