Do you have an "idea for an animated series"?
Do you have more questions than answers about what to do next... How to flesh it out? Does it even have legs? Where do I take it...
My question: Is it written down? Once you have it written down, it counts... before that, it's a dream in your mind. Get it on paper. Get the details worked out and then... ONLY THEN, we can see what to do with it next.
I have a wonderful FIVE DAY BOOTCAMP coming up in the last week of June designed to do just this: Take your IDEA to CONCEPT form, or as I like to say "pre-development". If DEVELOPMENT is where you start putting money behind the idea. And time... Bootcamp gets your idea fleshed out sufficiently to where you can present it and say "What do you think?" or submit it for funding at a film commission.
It's a guided process of decision-making and input to guide you toward understanding WHAT you are creating and DOING IT!! You can bring multiple concepts to the table and develop several 2-sheets, starting your own "mini-slate"... making you the writer with a bag full of concepts ready to move forward.

Dihan completed his BDRAM(Drama and film studies) in 2021 at the University of Pretoria. He is a avid charcoal and pencil artist and an upcoming writer. He performed in Drip, directed by Bethan Matell and Die Koffer, directed by Rudeker Matthee in 2021.
