A buffet-style dinner is a great way to feed a crowd. Keep it simple and elegant with a few well-chosen dishes. Don't forget to label your dishes clearly and keep plates, napkins and utensils within easy reach. We love the idea of ‘separate serving stations’ for different food categories (salads, main courses, desserts). Guests can move through the buffet more easily without jostling for space, plus each station can be individually styled and decorated. Vary the height of dishes to create visual interest and use attractive serving dishes for a truly impressive display.

Remember, less is often more. Also, don’t underestimate the power of the perfect holiday party playlist and the right lighting (use a combination of ambient, task and accent lighting to create a warm and inviting atmosphere).

A signature cocktail can add a touch of elegance to your holiday gathering. Try a classic like a cranberry mule or a festive twist on a margarita. Or, try our very own festive and sophisticated ‘Currin't Crimson’ cocktail! Don’t forget to stock up on plenty of ice, high-quality spirits and fresh garnishes. Cheers!

60ml premium vodka (or to taste)
30ml fresh cranberry juice
15ml lime juice
15ml simple syrup
Splash of pomegranate juice
Edible flowers (for garnish)

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 10-15 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with edible flowers. Top with sparkling water if needed and/or omit the vodka for an equally delicious mocktail. Enjoy!
