In December 2006, Mike debuted at one of South Africa's largest dance music institutions, ESP, after completing his Sound Engineering course. Under ESP's sister brand, he started organizing smaller, more intimate events, eventually becoming a resident DJ at Johannesburg's Submission Night Club in early 2008. This marked a turning point in his career, as he played alongside some of the country's to

p DJs and had a notable Back2Back set with Irish artist Nigel H. In 2009, Mike expanded his skills to promoting and organizing events, hosting his signature event, "Submission Night." He showcased his versatility in various genres of house music, including electro, tech, and progressive house, at various venues, events, and private parties around Johannesburg. In early 2011, Mike decided to venture into trance music, quickly adapting his skills and techniques to enhance his versatility and ability. As a result, he hosted the Pre-boarding Party at Tranceport 2011, opened INC3PTION in early 2012, and invited to play a guest slot at the renowned Truth Trance Room shortly thereafter. Besides his club career, Mike was an associate producer for MixFM's Saturday radio show, "Sunset Dance," hosted by Al Gray. Additionally, he co-founded Electric Cabal, a project that began in 2019 after he took a break from the music industry in early 2013 for personal reasons. His experience and knowledge have made him a prominent figure in the development of the South African house music scene, with much more to come in the near future now that his back on the scene.
