This morning we chat to the talented band members of โ€˜The Nu Savoysโ€™ at 11h25 on โ€˜The Weekend Wake-up With Dezโ€™ Originally called the โ€˜The Savoysโ€™, this band started in in the 60โ€™s and took the name from the Savoy Hotel in Berea Road. The band continued to play through the years with changes to the line-up and after recording four albums, the band stopped playing in the 80โ€™s.
