Curtley is a passionate musician, who found his comfort behind the keys, whether a keyboard or piano, he simply loves it. Any opportunity he gets to play, he does and he often sit in his quiet time working on new compositions. Some of the songs he worked on is “Where do I come from” as well as “God Bless Africa”, which he rehearsed and played with his band, @SDG.CPT.
Curtley has taken his musical guidance and inspiration from his 1st mentor, Chris Petersen, as well as Camillo Lombard, Ramon Alexander, Abdullah Ibrahim, to mention but a few. Curtley has the ability to listen to a piece of music, and 30 minutes later he plays it back to you from memory. He is hungry to learn, he sees himself as an entrepreneur, who wants to become successful in whatever he does so that he is able to contribute to the youth in his community and to be a positive role model to his peers.
