The first and most important thing that we wish you to know, is that we are not looking for a woman that is perfect or has the perfect life; we need real women to step up and speak out for those who cannot speak for themselves. Real women are women who have been broken, who know about the hardship of life, but have made a decision to be significant anyway. We create a platform for married / divorc
ed and widowed woman aged between 24-58yrs.
*Guidance is provided every step of the way; the finalists are coached by management and need not have previous pageant / modeling experience. This is a life-changing, pageant, not merely a beauty or modeling competition.
* The pageant is open to women living in and around Johannesburg
This pageant celebrates and recognizes the role that women play in society. Women are nurturers, change agents and catalysts in an ever-changing world. This title provides a platform from which to effect positive change in society.
*Mrs Johannesburg is a confident, yet humble woman. Essential characteristics also include good communication skills and a spontaneous nature, it is important that she can use her initiative to create opportunities through networking. The winner would have to be stylish, well-groomed and able to present herself with dignity and integrity.

Finalists embark on a profound, exhilarating, life-altering “Journey”.
*You will be challenged to think out of the box
*You will have to step right out of your comfort zone
*You will develop new skills, finalists are usually surprised by what they can achieve
* You will learn to Empower, and be Empowered.
*This Title will look great on your CV
*The program is designed to measure a woman’s commitment to making a positive difference in the community.
*The finalists partake in team building activities and social events, in the lead up to the finals.
*NO SWIMWEAR is worn at any stage of the pageant.
*No Height or Weight specifications, as we don’t believe that making a difference in your community is dependent on the size of your thighs.
*All events take place after hours or on weekends
>>> The challenge is for each finalist, irrespective of where she is placed at the finals, to reach her absolute best potential. Finalists usually come to think of life as “Before & After Mrs Johannesburg”, describing their participation as a defining moment in their lives.

Are you facing a situation that seems impossible? Get with God about it because with God all things are possible. Change is vital to anything that is growing and living. Embrace it because it will help you embrace the good things in your future. Let it go. That’s a distraction. Don’t hold on to what has an expiration date, some things and people are seasonal in your life. Slow down! The enemy will get you so busy that you miss what God has for you. Be still. Don’t complain about the problem, sing God’s promises. Thank Him that things are changing in your favour. Thank Him that you will lend and not borrow. Thank Him that opportunities are chasing you down. No matter what happens in your life, no matter what comes against you, no matter what challenges you have, you can do whatever you need to do in life through Christ who strengthens you. Your brokenness will bring forth your greatest blessings. The enemy wants your joy so you won't have any strength. Let all weariness be broken off you in the name of Jesus. Have an awesome day

We provide 3 cooked meals a day to the residents at the Starfish Places of Safety
Winters are extremely cold on the farm in Magaliesburg with temperatures as low as - 9 degrees.
The resident's house has no electricity supply.
We do not receive any government funding; we rely solely on donations from the public.
Please assist us to continue helping those in crisis.
Should you be able to make a monetary donation towards the needs, you may opt to do an eft and send us a list of what you wish us to purchase; then we will send you the cash slip.
This qualifies as a tax deduction as we have a registered NPO.

You are loved, you are so loved. The Creator of the universe is in love with you. Don’t heed the enemy’s lies - cling to Christ. Soak in His presence. Let Him tell you true things. Have faith and believe that all things will work together for good because they will. God’s got His hand always on you. It maybe feels like you won’t ever escape this hell but you will and things will be bright again, even brighter. Sometimes it feels like it’s always going to hurt. Just hold on a little longer. No matter where you are in life, God has purpose for you. He never wastes a moment. He will use everything in your life to prepare you for the blessings and breakthrough He has for your future. God is a God of increase. He has something bigger for your future. He wants to take you higher than you’ve ever gone before. He has wonderful blessings lined up for you. God wants to do something big in your life. Don’t cancel it out with a negative attitude. Negative words, doubt and unbelief tie the hands of God. When you’re positive, you’ll see blessings overtaking you, favour that you didn’t deserve. It’s not going to be the usual process, God is speeding things up for blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. Don’t quit now. You always face big battles before great breakthroughs. Rip off every label and limitation not in alignment with who God says you are. God is filling your heart with greater joy. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. God doesn’t waste anything. Out of your pain, you can find your purpose. When God calls you, when God anoints you, it doesn’t matter what other people think about you or what other people do to you. With God on your side, nothing can hold you back. Have a big vision. Make room for God to do something new. You cannot out-dream God. God thinks big. He thinks overflow. He thinks more than enough. Whatever you’re dreaming about, you need to get ready. God’s going to supersize it. Asking God for wisdom is one of the most important things you can do before you start your day. When you make wisdom your priority, you'll begin to see yourself making God-inspired decisions that will lead you to greater levels of good success in your family, home, or workplace. God will be there forever and ever. He will never change, He will never leave you, or forsake you. God is a God of love, but if you do evil and persist on the worldly, He will judge you, He will punish you. God rules with a scepter of justice. When Christ was on the cross there were two people next to Him. Both of them where criminals, both had the chance to go with Christ to heaven, only one made the right choice and choose God, the other went to hell. In everything in life we have a choice, so when we choose evil, and commit evil, and do not stop the evil, we cannot ask why bad things happen in our lives. The bad is about the choices we make. Do you want to live with Christ, or do you choose the world? With God, comes an inner joy that nothing in this world can replace it. A satisfying joy, because your spirit is connected with God.
