Kouthar & Josh Rich tied the knot at Saronsberg on the 23rd of August. With dramatic clouds over the majestic Tulbagh mountains, they celebrated this special day with friends and family. Violinist Renate Music performed during pre-drinks and this is what the couple had to say:

It is the third day of Spring! And 𝙬𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮:

First up, Kirstin Sax will be entertaining between 120-150 guests at Eikenhof Estate for the annual Secretaries Day.

And lastly, violinist Renate Music, will be performing at a corporate event for Momentum at Lagoon Beach Hotel.

A reintroduction for the newbies out here:

For starters I would like to steer away from saying “𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥” because in all superficial honesty, what is a face really anyway?

I’d rather use the phrase: “𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥”.

So… hey! I am Renate Music, founder and musician at Resound Music. I am a 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙟𝙖𝙯𝙯 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 and even though I can plonk some chords on the piano, I won’t charge you for it! I am the one that answers your emails, calls or Whatsapps 🖤 or the one serenading you down the aisle!

I love the idea of 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙖 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 and since this task, in its global capacity, becomes too overwhelming I advocate change in the local environment one operates in.

Hence the reason behind having two rescue pups, picking up plastic at the beach and trying to make compost from organic matter… Also, running a business with transparency and making sure that I manage each booking with 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙 is one of my top priorities. 𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩, 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙, 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙙.

My vision for Resound Music is not to become a big network of entertainment but rather to be 𝙖 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚-𝙠𝙣𝙞𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙-𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝘿𝙅𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝. I don’t go out to look for new talent - I only trust and obey when it so happens that hearts align.

In Caledon, Marelize (venue manager at Embassy Hill) will be getting married to her best friend at Die Woud. She requested sound & DJ services.

Back on home soil, Claire (talented dancer) is getting married to Kenneth at the beautiful Loch Lynne. They are making use of our sound & DJ services as well as live music at the ceremony (cue violinist Renate Music).

Loche & Lian-Roberts are tying the knot at Groenvlei Country Farm today. The couple opted for violinist Renate Music to perform at their ceremony with a special song request such as “You Make Me Better” by Fabolous ft Ne-Yo!

Then back in Evertsdal, we are celebrating a joint 40th birthday party at Evert Restaurant - what joy to be back at this warm and quaint venue right on our doorstep. Toinette & Peter requested sound, DJ and live music entertainment. So violinist Renate Music will be serenading guests upon arrival with one of our DJs taking care of the rest of the party!

Today is the big day for Renata & Shayne at Alluvia!

We curated an inclusive package for them showcasing violinist Renate Music as live music entertainment at the ceremony & pre-drinks, saxophonist Kirstin as opening of the dance floor entertainment and one of our high in demand DJs, Southern Sound.

Then back at Boschendal, our acoustic string quartet will be serenading a group of tourists visiting our beautiful winelands. Thanks to for booking us 🙏🏻
