Being surrounded by the most talented, creative and important voices in the industry, celebrating the people that put in endless work to keep us entertained, informed and online (mostly when we on the toilet) - I had the incredible honour to award the emerging creator of the year award going this year to 💚 Massive love to for dressing me top to toes and having me looking stage ready!

How to fight the Sunday Scaries: fight fire with fire by making yourself even more scared by repeatedly almost falling off a mountain. Did a range of waterfall abseiles this weekend and while my "check knee light" now keeps coming on, what an absolute blast!

Red carpet was in full swing at the premier! Got the chance to take part in the press zone and chat to some of the industries finest! Despite the 1 degree Temps the cast was amazing and stuck around to chat about the film and the build up to the release. Full vids dropping soon!

So now, for the whole reason we flew across the pond. Going to be attending the red carpet premiere of DC's tomorrow... Dropping on the 17th of March, I've already taken a sneak peak, and it is an absolute cracker! So we got dressed fancy today and got to chat to the cast (video dropping as soon as I won't get sued for spoliers🫢)

MUD, SWEAT AND TEARS - completed my first triathlon and while am now very much broken I couldn't have hoped for a better experience! The was easily one of my favorite events I have ever done! is always an incredible venue to race in and the .africa team made it such a pleasure to be part of - we will not talk about times but you will definitely see me again next year (side note - yes i am aware Camera tickery makes it look like I have 1 GIANT hand!)

Top tip: keep your pictures in black and white, so that people won't be able to see how much you were sweating. I have tested and this even works under stage lights and during a heatwave.
This pic was taken at a performance with the music school I have been going to for the past couple years when I decided to start taking guitar seriously - have been incredible! I am always surprised how many people think learning an instrument is only something that would be of value or interest to kids (I often get these comments). With music being such a big part of my life I love developing the musical vocabulary to be able to understand and play the material I love and these guys are able to expand that regardless of the level you are at - cannot recommend them enough

Like deja vu, I get to bombard your timeline with more bicycle content!😂 Had the chance to do the 947 Ride Joburg 50km MTB last week and the 97km road race this week. We will not talk about how long it took me because I was “continental drift” level of slow but what a pleasure to be part of!!! and .africa you guys outdid yourselves, brilliantly organized!
I got the chance to ride for an incredible cause – the is raising funds for siyathuthuka crèche in the northern KZN. Thank you to Africa Foundation for including me in this project, if you would like more information you can go to AfricaFoundation.Org.za .
Thank you to for the gear, it hid my level of (inexperience well)! See you next year (this time with more training under my belt)

My favorite festival on the calendar is back!!!! is a 2 day outdoor festival that starts on the Friday eve, you then float down the river throughout Sat and then party in the eve! As a lover of great radio, I have always been in awe of the on-air moments, personalities and campaigns that 947 is known for! It is an honour to be joining a station that is so actively pushing what is possible within the media landscape and I look forward to adding my voice to the afternoon airwaves.

Had the most incredible gift dropped off yesterday. This is , an incredibly talented artist that paints 2 portraits at a time and then gives them to you under the condition that you sign the copy that he keeps. I am beyond honoured and blown away by his talent!

As mentioned on today's show, this will be my final week with . My time with the station has been truly incredible. I have seen myself develop hugely - both professionally as a broadcaster, as well as in my personal capacity. I will forever be grateful to the station for giving me a start in the industry that I love and for adding my voice to the conversation of what it truly means to be youth in SA. It is with great pride that I am able to say that I started my journey at Y.

Having the opportunity to build (while short lived) has been an incredible experience and has shaped me more than I could ever imagine. I am blown away what we created and I truly proud to have been part of such an opportunity. Thank you for everything!

While I am not able to discuss what is to come just yet, I am looking forward to this next challenge and cannot wait to enter into this next chapter.

A story of a boy and his chicken: meet "Chicky Minnaj" (this was the name that was voted by our listeners)
All week we have been trying to surprise our security guards at the office since they check our boots every day before we leave. This was the finale! Went into Alex and bought a chicken (for way more than I care to admit, I think I was hustled) and now that I have named and bonded with him I can bring myself to eat him... So I guess this means I now own a chicken🤷‍♂️
