SAfmRadio ! Five years ago myself and the SAfm radio audience parted ways marking the end of a two decade plus connection with the SABC . I’ve always felt I had unfinished business on a platform that best reflects the pulse of the nation. So this time when management approached me I said yes yes yes ! What an opportunity to “feel the pulse” of the nation starting with the and beyond . Let’s also use the opportunity to inspire each other to live our personal purpose and to help define our national purpose and to collectively build South Africa into a champion nation Do join me on this champion journey from April weekdays 3-6pm .

A Night of Elegance and Empowerment at the Gauteng Women's Excellence Awards 2023

Oh, what a night it was—an exquisite tapestry woven with the threads of achievement and inspiration. Rewind to February 2020, where I found myself on the Adjudication Panel, envisioning great plans that faced a pause with the onset of lockdown. Little did we know that the seeds of inspiration planted then would bloom into a spectacular event.

Last night, the much-anticipated Awards Ceremony unfolded, celebrating the phenomenal Women of Gauteng. Their stories, resilience, and impact resonated through the venue.

I'd like to extend my gratitude to the remarkable team from the Gauteng Office of the Premier for graciously including me in these impactful occasions. Your dedication to excellence shines brightly, and I am honoured to be a part of these remarkable events.

I am at a loss for words to convey the deep sorrow in my heart. Our King of Queens, Wayne Stafford, has left us. We crossed paths in 2014, and since then, his inspiration in the event space has been immeasurable.

Recently, I had the privilege of speaking to Wayne. He generously lent us his gorgeous Tylo, Mr Supranational for an event. We had plans for so much more, and the reality of your departure is truly hard to fathom.

RIP Wayne. Your infectious laugh and the cheery voice saying "Hello, my Bernadette" will forever echo in my memories. You will be profoundly missed. 🕊️
