🔹 Costume Making and Maintenance – Did you know that almost every costume at Princess Maggie's is made and repaired in-house by Maggie and Louise? Furthermore Maggie spends hours crafting the perfect wigs and sourcing accessories for the most realistic and authentic characters possible.

✨ Enchanting Holiday Announcement ✨

Dear friends,

As the festive season approaches, we’re excited to share that our office will be closed from 22 December 2024 to 5 January 2025. During this magical time, our online booking system will remain open, allowing you to secure your wishes while we take a little break to recharge our creative spirits!

As a special thank you to our amazing clients, our frozen sisters will be Jakaranda Kinderhuis Liggiefees at the Syzygy Photography stall to the right of the entrance! We will be doing face painting, glitter tattoos and meet and greets, you can also request that your printed photo at the syzygy stall be with our frozen sisters when we aren’t busy.

🌟✨ This past weekend, our beloved characters made a special appearance at the Jakaranda Kinderhuis Liggiefees ! 🎉🎨 Barbie and Snow White brought joy and creativity, painting faces and spreading festive cheer to everyone. There once was a Princess named Maggie and she made a pledge...

It all started with the dream to make dreams come true and a love for fairytales. In 2016 the kingdom was founded with one costume and one Princess. Now we have more that 23 high quality characters and a cast of talented royal family members, chosen for their specific skillset from singing to archery, fencing, painting and dancing. Our passionate royal family members joined Princess Maggie on her journey to bring magic to the world and they took the following oath:

“I pledge that I will be the best princess, superhero, fairy or mermaid I can be. I will aim to bring magic back into the world by accessing the magic in kids and strengthening it by bringing their favourite characters to life. I will aim to provide the most realistic characters to South Africa. I believe that children hold all the magic, passion and imagination in their eyes and will help keep that magic ensuring a more creative and beautiful future. I promise to make the best of my job, to be proud, brave and exceptional, to be so much more than entertainment. Today I am a Princess. I will be kind and graceful. I will love the Kingdom of South Africa with all my heart and let my beauty shine from within. I will be young hearted, wish often and dream the improbable, think, believe, dream and most importantly dare! I will always hold my head high. Let my crown represent my power within, after all it’s not the tiara that makes the princess, it’s her kind soul. I will spread kindness, to others, myself and make friends with animals and respect nature entirely. I will always dress with a smile. I will have courage, and won’t let the cruel break my dreams. I will be the change I wish to see in the world and remember I’m braver than I believe stronger than I seem and smarter than I think. I will create my own destiny and build trust within myself. I will be the hero of my life. Our fate lives within us so I will pave my path and stay curious. Lastly, I will set my heart on fire and live passionately in my fairy tale. And I will help all live Happily Ever After.”

Princess Maggie is a singer, cosplayer and designer with a natural ability to work with kids as their favourite fairytale characters! She is so in love with these characters that her personality and fashion sense has granted her the nickname “princess” with all who meet her! She has a background in choir and fine arts. She designs and makes all of our princess costumes by hand and sources many other costumes to make sure they are of the highest quality. Herr entire life is a musical and she can always be seen skipping, humming or singing! Since starting Princess Maggie’s experiences she has been a guest on the television show “My vreemde vriende”, been a cosplay judge at Comic Con Africa in 2019 as well as a panelist on acting in costume, done interviews on radio and learnt invalueable skills like sewing, archery, hula and more! Her dream is to keep growing Princess Maggie’s and one day work as an immersive theming specialist and costume designer for theme parks and movies.

Princess Robyn is a gamer and artist. She is studying graphic design and has training in acting, face painting, cosplay and crafting. She is passionate about art and can usually be found building castles in the sky! A highly imaginative princess she dreams of one day being in a Star Wars Movie!
