Tree Tops Forest School had the most Epic Easter Egg Extravaganza in our forest yesterday. Finding pinecones in the forest, dipping brownie eggs into melted chocolate over the campfire and painting their candy coated eggs. What incredible fun. Thanks to all the children who joined us. See you next year as this event grows.

Tree tops is never the same. Each session brings a new experience. This was the first time we built a fairy village. This group were completely engrossed in making the village come to life in the forest.

It was truly magical in our forest as we had our first Forest School in the rain. The creativity the kids and adults expressed as the droplets fell was simply out of this world. It was so wonderful that no one wanted to leave even though the rain was falling.

Thanks to Tombi for teaching us how to cut grass, bundle it and tie it down onto our forest forts. Our little foresters were super busy building their own shelters. They gathered sticks, leaves, branches and grass to construct their own shelters. The boys included a built in spit braai, while the girls collected moss and layered it down as a carpet in their teepee.

An apple hunt. 2-12 year olds roared through the forest floor, kicking up leaves and scrambling up trees. The little foresters had great fun on their Apple hunt through the forest. Climbing trees to reach sneaky hidden apples, communicating and collaborating to get even the smallest of our little foresters an apple.
