The provincial Chivweka Chairman Abel Mukenge and his vice Kaselo Likomeno Samatale and other provincial team decided to visit the VA nyatundanda who were involved in the road traffic accident last year during Likumbi Lya Mize Traditional Ceremony where one lost her life.

It's sad that these people have been neglected from the time the accident happened,one of them her hand was broken and she has been struggling to make her ends meet.

We assured them our support as chivweka traditional ceremony provincial committee.

PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.

The Luchazi Royal establishment has distanced itself from the news circulating on social media and offcourse posted by ZNBC Today regarding the succession wrangles in kayombo kabompo district of North Western province.

We want to state it very clear that the news is fake and it lacks merit. From inception, Kalunga chiefdom has never had succession wrangles,we have always followed the right chanel when selecting a new Chief on the throne, we have always done it peacefully.

As Luchazi Royal establishment,we have written a letter to ZNBC management so that they can retract the statement which was written by their reporter Lupindula Mwewa.

We therefore urge the Luchazi community and the members of the general public not to panic as the chiefdom is enjoying it's peace.

GOOD AFTERNOON LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.

I wish to take this opportunity and appreciate everyone who came for our provincial meeting yesterday where I was enormously voted in as a provincial chairman and other committee members.

As I take up this challenging role,I want to make it clear that am not here as a boss, instead am a servant to you all the Luchazi's and everyone who supports chivweka traditional ceremony. I promise to work with everyone who is ready to work with us,those with ideas on how we can improve on our working culture towards chivweka traditional ceremony, please you are welcome, my doors are open to everyone.

I also wish to take this opportunity and appreciate my predecessor Mr. Robert Sakapita for bringing Chivweka traditional ceremony in the province this far. We appreciate you sir and we wish to continue from where you have left.

This work is voluntary, therefore am calling for unit and peace amongst ourselves. I will always be available to listen to your advice and suggestions mwane. It's not a journey of competition instead it is a journey of working for our Luchazi culture and see to it that it is sold to the world.

For the national committee, please we will be always ready and available to be guided by you anytime.

Wishing you all God's blessings as we embark on this journey of working for our culture together.
