One day a teacher wrote on the board:

9x1 = 7
9x2 = 18
9x3 = 27
9x4 = 36
9x5 = 45
9x6 = 54
9x7 = 63
9x8 = 72
9x9 = 81
9x10 = 90

You could hear the classroom cracking jokes and laughing, because the teacher wrote the wrong answer on the first equation 9x1 = 7 as opposed to 9x1 = 9.
The teacher waited until everyone was silent, then said, "this is how we are seen by the entire world. I purposely wrote the incorrect answer to show you how the world behaves over an error. NOBODY praised me for having 9 correct answers, NOBODY said congratulations. ALL of you laughed and criticized me over one incorrect response."

Moral of the story:

We need to learn how to value people for their success. The world will not always appreciate the good that you do, but it will put you down for the one mistake you made. Always rise above the criticism and stay stronger.

On Monday 26th June 2023, the YMCA Lusaka observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking working closely with it's strategic stakeholder,the Drug Enforcement Commission who organized this beautiful event at ZNS Banquet hall in Chamba Valley..

The event gave a platform to the youths where one of our member was a panelist on the deliberations centered on addressing challenges of Substance and Drug Abuse among young People..

It was also a great opportunity to network with other young people,key government and Non-governmental stakeholders working on various issues especially those affecting young people.

YMCA all over the world while working with strategic stakeholders provide a platform where the young people's voices can be heard through Civic Engagements among others..

Save a Life! Say No!! to Drug Trafficking and Drug Abuse..

Each parent influences our life and shapes us into the person we become. Our father is the pillar of support who helps us develop the strength and resilience needed to lead our lives most efficiently.

Our father wants us to protect us from difficult times and prepare us for the roughness in life. So he teaches us, support us and give us the best advice in the world. Listen carefully when your father teaches you a lesson. He doesn't want you to pass through the hardship he has been through.

Value the advice given by your father. Some advice are understood later in life, and we then remember how blessed we are for having him in life.
