We are tipping you on choosing the MATRON OF HONOR......

Whilst most people choose a Matron for their special day who is classy, elegant, and probably even financial LOADED....these are good benefits for you by the way. But aside from these 👆🏾....you need to choose a Matron with some of the following points:

1. Married...very important to pick a wedding Matron that is already married. It is easier to help you prepare and advice on what needs to be done. She's been there before ✔️

2. Mature....you need the pointers and direction from her. Besides the wedding day advice, you need someone that can still advice you even as you are in your home incase the need arises.

3. Coordinator.....It's your big day but the Matron helps coordinate the day for you. She must be someone able to ensure everything is running smoothly and on point. Her role is a general overview, from making sure the bridal party is ready, to cake, to your gowns, to parents being well catered for, to all your big day needs.

4. A Role Model.....you are choosing her because something about her inspires you, could be her marriage, her home, her career, her talents, her role in ministry or even her character.

5. Selfless...a woman that has your needs and interests at heart. Your needs before hers...we do see a well dressed and in fact better dressed than the BRIDE Matrons these days, because she's focused on her looking the part on YOUR big day 😳

Choosing a Bridal Party.....

You need the hype, the dance moves, the jokes, the laughs and tossing....at least then you will look back and know the big day was FUN!!!

That is all good but aside from all this 👆🏾 you need friends that along with the dance moves will pray for and with you through the process of wedding preparations. You need friends that constantly remind you why you and your partner are making this beautiful choice (incase you get cold feet). You need friends that dedicate their time to help out with choosing venues, themes, cakes, outfits. You need a team whose interests are seeing your day a success. You need friends genuinely happy for you. Above all you need a team that is entirely present for you emotionally, Spiritually, financially is good too 😂👌🏾 and physically available when you need them.
Choose wisely, even when you know your best man or maid of honour will burn up the dance floor, it is even better to know they would also go down on their knees to cover you in prayer when you most need it.

The excitement of planning a wedding is beyond belief. It's a process meant to be enjoyed...after all you are finally planning towards forever with your PERSON. However most times the stress kicks in and instead of excitement, Regret, pressure, irritation kick in. "I want to call off the wedding" 😯😳 can be avoided

Here's Tips for you:

1. You are a TEAM....It is very important to know you are on the same team even if your interests differ like one wants a small guest list and the other wants a big one or a summer wedding versus a winter wedding. Compromise or meet half way. Keep in mind there's always a solution no need to start arguments.

2. Your partner first....they say the "marriage is yours" but the "wedding" is for your families. Yes true, however any new idea or changes either of you would like to make should run past your partner first, when you both agree then inform friends and family about it. Trust me you do not want your partner learning about any new development about your big day from someone else.

3. Budget together.....iyo "wedding yakuchaume" and "kitchen party yachanakashi" fair enough but budget together either way. Your partner should still be in the picture of how much you and your family is spending on the event. After all you have a common goal, so even before those private family meetings ensure you already had one with your PERSON.

Inshort ALWAYS work together......again ALWAYS work together. You might just have a stress-free planning process. Enjoy the journey towards marriage even before you begin enjoying "THEE MARRIAGE" itself.
