Beef stew, Beans, and lumanda mixed with pounded groundnuts served with Nshima
BEANS
I'm sure we all know that you only prepare this when you have the whole day π
You can soak it overnight and boil it the following day..this way it will cook faster.
I boil enough for 4 meals.. once it's time to add tomatoes and onions.. I pack and freeze the rest.
I'll add my diced onions and tomatoes together with salt and oil.. I'll cook it till the gravy is made. Don't worry if it's not thick there and then..it thickens as it cools.
BEEF STEW
After cleaning my meat, I'll place it in a pot and allow it to boil with it's own water then later on fry it till golden brown and add some more later.. I'll repeat this process till the beed is soft.
I'll added my diced garlic, onions and tomatoes individually in that order.. later on add spices and tomato paste and a bit of water for gravy.
Spices (bbq, steaks and chops, brown onion and black pepper)
LUMANDA.
After sorting and washing it.. I'll cut and then add it together with a bit of ocra, soda, salt, tomatoes in a pot..
The ocra adds to taste, the soda to keep the green, salt to taste and lastly oil to make it creamy..
On top of it I'll add pounded groundnuts and a bit of water.
Others prefer having it plain because it's got that natural sour taste..but if you have had too much of the pain one..you can try this one β₯οΈ
