HEALING IS A PREREQUISITE FOR GROWTH


Healing from our past scars is a profound journey of self-discovery and resilience. Just as wounds on our bodies gradually fade and transform into scars, emotional scars can also mend over time.

It requires patience and self-compassion. To heal, we must confront the pain of our past, acknowledge its impact on our present, and ultimately find ways to let go and forgive, both ourselves and those who may have caused those wounds. Through this process, we can learn valuable lessons, build inner strength, and uncover a renewed sense of purpose and joy.
Healing from our past scars is a testament to our human capacity for growth, transformation, and the remarkable ability to find beauty in our imperfections.

Personally , I had to deal with one personality trait, “Irrational anxiety“.
On my journey of addressing this, I discovered that the most likely source of this was the trauma I endured that comes with dealing with the loss parents at an early age. This triggered feelings of separation anxiety and the constant fear of how quickly things can suddenly change in life.

However, I LEARNT TO OVERCOME THIS SCAR!💃🏼
I came to understand that mostly, the things we worry about are usually projections of real concerns that we’re repeatedly not dealing with.
I learnt to practice having deep conversations within me by asking myself self examining questions in order find out what the true source of my worries and anxieties are.
I usually have to write down or recite what I can control and what I cannot control at that particular time.
I take long deep breath’s, heart pouring prayers each chance I get and listen to uplifting music or sharing my feelings with my husband.

I further discovered that the best times for me to have such deep conversations within me is when I go jogging. It’s always a wonderful therapy session for my soul.
