Black Crake • a bird often heard but not seen. In my experience they are shy birds who hide in the reeds and long grass along the edge of the water. Maybe it’s just these resident Black Crakes that are shy but I finally manage to get a decent photo of one.

Making his exit - This male Leopard was trying to sneak some breakfast from a lions kill but got spotted by one of the male lions who chased him up the tree. We watched him sit up there for a good 15 minutes while the Lion stared up at him. Once the Lion went to rest the leopard made his exit safely.
