Mount Pavilia wedding and conference centre has immediate casual vacancy for experienced waiters and kitchen assistants to join our team. Work across a diverse variety of functions and events spaces including corporate events and weddings , where no two days are ever the same.
:Located in Mazowe Centre Mashonaland Central
The Role
Work alongside the chef assisting with food preparation
Ensure that the kitchen, storage areas, fridge and freezers are a high level of cleanliness
Cleaning of all kitchen equipment, utensils and kitchen surrounds
General washing up
About You
Prior experience in a kitchen environment with knowledge of food hygiene
Previous experience is highly desirable
Self-driven and autonomous whilst being open to direction
Personable, well presented, enthusiastic and reliable
Hard working, physically fit and reliable – able to lift 10-15kgs comfortably
Have excellent communication skills
‘Can do’ attitude and willingness to learn
Passion for hospitality and events.
Team player who commits to delivering only the very best customer experience.
Ability to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day period, day and night.
Flexibility to multitask in other roles and work in other areas of the Venue .
Pride in your work that clearly shows attention to detail and care.
