Of Zimbabwean brands that are making a global mark, and impact, Jacque Mgido Cosmetics is surely amongst the best brands coming out of Zimbabwe to the world. The brand is well on its way to becoming a staple in women's makeup bags. I sat down to an insightful conversation with entrepreneur and celebrity makeup artist Jacque Mgido the vivacious founder and CEO of what we now as Vault Cosmetics in Zimbabwe but now recently rebranded to Jacque Mgido Cosmetics. Outside of our borders the brand now has brick and mortar presence in Kenya and Uganda as well as online presence through their online store and on Amazon. Jacque told me of her growth plans of entering the UK and Nigerian markets. From working as a maid upon her arrival in the USA in 1995 to the founder and CEO of a fast-growing makeup brand and celebrity makeup artist in Hollywood.
