CHEEKY MONKEYS PLAYLAND IS A UNIQUE CONCEPT WHERE CHILDREN COME TOGETHER TO PLAY, LEARN AND CELEBRATE In guidelines produced last year, the American Academy of Pediatrics advised parents to limit screen time to one to two hours a day for children between the ages of two and five years. New research suggests these recommendations arenโt producing the desired psychological benefits, and that the AAPโs recommendations are unreasonably strict. But given how much we still donโt know about the effects of excessive screen use on young children, thereโs still reason for concern. We believe a place like cheeky monkeys is crucial for parents to be able to control the amount of screen time.
Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development.
