Show Stopper! Show Stopper! Show Stopper!
In simplified terms for our wedding to be a success we had to come up with at least 3 things each of us could not do without. These were items we were prepared to go all in on and they had to be on point. So let me break it down for you as follows.
For Regis, the groom - it was both the Suits. I believe what people see before you say anything is the first point of contact of communication. So my suits had to say something about me. I always say if I do not get at least more than three compliments ( excluding my wife), then I have not achieved my goal.
Videography and Photography -Memories are timeless treasures of the heart. Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. Because every picture has a story to tell. Happy times come and go, but the memories stay forever. The best thing about memories is making them - All this is true and we decided not to compromise on someone who could capture the special moments on our big day.. Credit goes to Maz-ville Studiosfor a job well done.
Catering - they say “Food brings people together on many different levels. It’s nourishment of the soul and body; it’s truly love. "– Giada De Laurentiis. So definitely Catering had to be on point for us Bethel Catering Zimbabwe job well done.
For the Whistle bride, Ady - It was both my dresses. "Selecting a wedding dress is more than just a fitting... it's a process, a memory in the making.". Definitely there was no compromise on my dresses.
Décor - Munondo Eleven Events understood my vision and color palette and translated that into my dream wedding. Wedding Colors/ theme can cause confusion to your wedding if not carefully coordinated and balanced. Overall my base color all shades of Green, beige were articulated in an artistic fashion.
The Cake - Classic Cakes By Eve took my idea from a picture into reality. For me the taste and the outward appearance of the cake came out more than i was expecting. We had big cake boxes for cakes that were to be given to parents, tete etc trying to run away from the foil and the awkward moment where you will say" tinokumbirawo cake back, tozokupai muchato wapera". So the boxes were easy to carry and you could keep the cake with you.
So these were among the things we prioritized and invested much attention to so that our wedding came out to be, a day you still remember.
