The UAE's will be launching to the International Space Station today, in what will be the UAE's first long term space mission.

The team will blast off at 9.34am (UAE) from NASA's Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral, Florida, using the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft.

Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, Russian Andrey Fedyaev and NASA's Warren Hoburg and and Stephen Bowen will be conducting experiments aboard the International Space Station for around 6 months!
