Another big win for the UAE at The Sevens Stadium on Friday night as they beat Malaysia 62-19 in their third and final round of the Asia Rugby Championship! 🔥

Massive congratulations to UAE RUGBY for their 36-32 win over Korea on Sunday.

Not only was it their first ever victory over Korea, they have now achieved their highest ever World Rugby ranking, now sitting at 57th in the World 🌍

To mark World Environment Day, the team at The Sevens Stadium were busy this morning helping to plant 100 Ghaf trees at the entrance to the grounds 🍃

The 'ghaf' tree is a drought-resistant tree indigenous to harsh desert environments, and is celebrated as the national tree of UAE 🇦🇪

This is another step forward in the stadium's journey to more conscious operations, as this morning's activities brings the total number of trees planted at the stadium to over 1,000!

This initiative is part of our mission to help maintain the local biodiversity and support the delicate desert ecosystem.

You can spot the newly planted trees near the entrance to the stadium, from Al Ain road ☺️

The Sevens Stadium will host two International matches in June, as part of the Asia Rugby Championship.

📆 Sunday 9th June 7:30pm UAE V Korea
📆 Friday 21st June 7:30pm UAE V Malaysia

Both matches will be played on Pitch 2 and are free to attend. The Beats on 2 bar will be open for both matches.

400+ athletes will test their fitness and strength across multiple locations within the venue, in the afternoon and evening.
