Artwork by American Artist Medina Sage Dugger

“For Muslim women in Lagos, Nigeria, a veil is not only a sign of faith, but a fashion statement.

, a project Inspired by muslim women in Lagos, 'Enshroud' reveals images created via digital collage featuring the veil primarily in an abstract sense, observing its forms, patterns, colors and its contribution to identity, self-expression and style” Medina

"Baghdad Blues"

Artwork by Iraqi born Artist Fahar Al-Salih

“At first, when I began the BAGHDAD BLUES series a few years ago I didn’t know where I was going with it, but the urge to unload all the emotionally-laden impressions i had collected during my previous visit to baghdad was pressing me. Why are the photos behind colored plexiglass and brass? Mainly, to insulate the viewer from realty, it’s like pieces of memories imperfect and unfinished just as baghdad itself nowadays” Fahar

"Melting Wings"

Sculpture by Lebanese Artist Shereen Shalhoub .shalhoub

“This sculpture was created at home during the lockdown where we were asked to stay in, which felt restrictive to many. The wings represent our overall state as we were asked to keep them from flying thereby affecting our soul which is nourished when active, exposed and connected.

Our wings felt like they were melting as they were contained.” Shereen

presents: "Reflections"

Artwork by Egyptian Artist Abeer Adel

Part 1 - The reflection of the role of the family by both father and mother on their children, and a mother is not the only one responsible for education, and the burden should not be greater than that of the man. The man should also have a role because all of this is reflected negatively or positively on their children.
Size 61 x 43

Part 2- The father has a role in raising his children, so when the father has his indifference this affects the children, his goal should not be only himself.
Size 29 x 23

Part 3- If the woman’s role becomes restricted because of her husband, this applies to children
Size 29*23

presents: "Q Times dinner"

Artwork by Peruvian Artist German Fernandez

“This image was about imagining a way of coming to terms with what is called in many places the "new normality"; it can be interpreted as resilience signal, or else. Nevertheless, the new daily life we see now as a result give way to the imagination, thinking, what else can change, and how. At the same time, it is somehow an attempt to continue our lives as usual but also in a very different manner. The result could be funny, sad or just plainly bewildering. Nevertheless, as they say, life goes on.” German
