As I @chadharachna write this post it brings warmth of gratitude to my heart and a big smile of happiness to my face. Ata our beautiful bride inside out, began exploring platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and wedding blogs, searching for the perfect person, professional, experienced, committed and passionate human who could resonate with her and understand what she desires. An in-depth read and look into the stunning visuals, glowing testimonials, unique flair and the love I have for my craft through my portfolio of work of over 35 years, Ata knew she wanted me on board. She contacted me on July 6th 2023 while I was on a school friends reunion in Goa. A meeting in person couldn’t happen but a zoom interview of sorts was conducted by Atas dad Sadiq and Mom Samera, a process they were following for practically all other professionals in the industry in UAE. Ata and Sadiq were sure they wanted to lock in BAQAA after the first meeting and so it happened, as was destined by the universe. October 2023 a signed contract and a deposit payment was paid for end of November 2024 wedding. Ata had the faith that I will design, curate, execute a wedding which will be a reflection of her story, style, cultural roots and will blend it beautifully with unique, creative concepts and colours for each of the 7 events over 4 days. She practically left everything to me and every step of the way took advice from me which really grew our bond deeper than that of a professional and a client.
My first aspect of the wedding vision was to craft unique hand drawn watercolour invitations which could only be done by the talented team of @bombaylettering. They created every invitation based on my specific detailed wedding vision. I wanted the first communication and the last impression of the grand wedding reception to be an embodiment of Ata and Aman’s first magical moment together, when Aman proposed to Ata on the London bridge.

As I close the chapter on another incredible year, my heart is full of gratitude. 2024 has been a whirlwind of creativity, unforgettable moments and stories etched in time. I feel deeply honoured to have crafted experiences that will live in the hearts of BAQAA couples and families.

Over the past 36+ years, I have dedicated myself to the art of creating weddings and events that are as unique as the couples and families who literally hand pick me from around the world. No two celebrations are ever the same, because no two love stories are alike. Each event begins with a blank canvas which I paint with strokes of love inspired by the dreams of the bride or couple, their personal stories, adjusting, guiding them to be mindful of budgets and spaces.
From conceptualizing themes to executing the finest details, my goal has always been to design weddings that are signature masterpieces. Whether it’s weaving in cultural nuances, surprising guests with innovative experiences or curating breathtaking décor, every detail is infused with thought, passion and unparalleled creativity leading to flawless execution.
Conceptualization and vision is the first step of wedding design. Then follows cohesive aesthetics, personalization, spatial planning, transformative atmosphere, attention to detail, balancing of traditions and innovation to create moments. Every wedding is story telling through design with emotional intuition.
As 2024 is over,I find myself reflecting on another remarkable year. With decades in this incredible industry, I still wake up every morning as excited as I was on day one.
