Centre Stage Arts was founded in 2006 by Helena Panayis, initially offering Speech and Drama classes and the LAMDA syllabus to children of all ages and abilities. The classes were set up to provide a platform for children who wish to explore drama and express their individuality. Evidence of this can be seen not only in dramatic performance technique but also in every day life. Happy and confident

In 2008 Centre Stage Productions was established, which specialises in providing high quality children's musical events, touring from the London's West End. Since then Helena has primarily organised her events in the United Arab Emirates. Her productions feature the very best professionals in the field of children's theatre and never fail to entertain the families of Dubai with a memorable theatrical experience. Helena has even had the privilege of organising a private theatre musical on behalf of the Ruling Family of Abu Dhabi. Her role includes overall management, running and booking of the shows and enlisting the support of multinational companies to sponsor theatre events as part of their "Corporate Social Responsibility" to support education through live theatrical performance. The company is based in Cyprus with a second office located in Dubai. As a qualified teaching facilitator Helena enjoys observing children experience the magic of live theatrical performances and recognises its value in reinforcing the learning of literature and nurturing the appreciation of the cultural arts.
