Planning our first Gurdwara wedding in Dubai was a challenge as there were many rules, regulations, limitations and obstacles. We worked extremely closely with the management at the gurdwara and couple to ensure we had everything in order to make the wedding a success!

2024 // This yearโs main goal is to strive for work-life balance & spend quality time with our newest team member, Kabir ๐
Last year, during the pregnancy I had to take some time off in Feb due to the sickness but once I was back in action, I somehow managed to pull over 40 hours a week. As my due date was approaching, so were summer weddings and fall wedding deadlines. From June 1st to August 7th, I was working super long hours while also moving homes and preparing for the baby. By mid June, I was working over 60 hours a week and although I was technically on Mat leave from the last week of July, I wasnโt officially off until August 7th ๐ the day before Kabir arrived! I was committed to ensuring all of our clientsโ events were running smoothly, pending eventsโ were under control and fall clients had a plan to follow while I was โoffโ.
Thankfully everything went really well ๐
5 weeks after Kabir arrived, I was back on-site working full time with our Dubai, Toronto and US clients. Travelled to Toronto with a 2-month old for 4 days to execute our coupleโs wedding and then had our first Dubai wedding! Itโs all such a blur now but along with the hecticness, I am SO grateful for these opportunities and the love + appreciation I received from my clients!
Right after our Dubai events ended on Nov 9, I had a 24 hour break before I worked for Dubai Ride 2023 on Nov 11+12.
It didnโt stop there. On Nov 13th, I started my final commitment of 2023: United Nationsโ Climate Change Conference. This was an opportunity I couldnโt refuse.
Again, I had early morning shifts and shifts ending late. I was out of the house for 12 hours a day and missed Kabir so much! During this project, I realized I need to make changes and sometimes itโs okay to say โnoโ & not take every opportunity that comes my way.
Itโs evident that I didnโt take care of myself postpartum one bit & Iโm trying my best to focus on this aspect of my life, while also getting back to work.
I love what I do & clearly havenโt taken a proper break since Iโm so passionate about what I do!
Iโm so excited to spend time as a mom this year while working with limited clients and giving them 100% โฅ๏ธ iA

When Ridhdhi & Rikesh hired us to help them plan their traditional Gujrati wedding (on Nov 28, 2022), they mentioned they were aiming to book their venue by December 16th, before the holidays. We asked a few questions to understand their vision + requirements, did our research, presented a few options, booked site visits by December 2nd and booked their wedding venue on December 6th! ๐ We secured their Summer 2023 wedding venue within days of booking our full planning package and helped them plan their wedding while being located in Dubai the entire time.
