A few lessons I’ve learnt over the years while working in India.
Always keep an eye on the ball and don’t give control to people who don’t deserve it.
Don’t trust people who encourage your bad habits and have serious dark circles. They may look like pandas but they can’t sleep at night cause they do so much harm in the day.
People who can’t have what you have usually claim “the grapes are sour.”
But you know how sweet they are. Make wine while they whine.
Create something no one else can mimic unless they have your soul. They may steal your words, your thoughts, music, money and things but they can’t steal your soul.
The more successful you get, the more people will try to pull you down. Focus on the objective of doing good work and don’t compare yourself to others.
Be grateful for the opportunities you’re given and don’t take them for granted. Always be grateful to your mentors. You are what you are because of them.
Share your knowledge with your colleagues and help them grow. Hiding information from them won’t help anyone.
It’s always nice to address people serving you by their names. If they don’t have a name badge, ask them.
You are entitled to nothing. You are only as good as your work yesterday. Only your hard work will pay off.
Look into a person’s eyes when you see them.
Don’t hold a grudge. You will only grow to learn that the grudge is holding you.
True love will find you in the end. For the good karma to come, you have to shed the bad karma.
Always listen to your mum. Her instincts are usually right.
