Sometimes, the best moments take a little extra time to unfold. My recent newborn photography session was a perfect example of this. We spent a bit longer than usual trying to settle the little one, but in the end, it was all worth it.

The baby, like many newborns, had their own rhythm — a mix of calm moments and little bursts of fussiness. But with patience, a gentle touch, and a lot of soothing, we were able to create those timeless, peaceful portraits. The results were absolutely stunning!

Newborn photography isn’t just about taking pictures; it’s about preserving the tiny details—those perfect little hands, the soft curls, and the first sleepy expressions—that change so quickly in the first few weeks.

To ensure we capture these fleeting moments at their best, it’s important to book your session early—ideally during your second trimester. Newborns are best photographed between 5-14 days old, when they’re still sleepy and curl up naturally, allowing for those sweet, dreamy poses.
