AKA THE ALIEN is the alter ego of Giancarlo Di Chiara who began his musical journey in 2002. At the time he was playing alongside various top international dj's like Tony Humphries, Marshall Jefferson, Justin Berkmann, Angel's of Love.
He left the electronic scene as a DJ after a couple of years for his own/health reasons and became solely focused on producing and label management as he founded the label family Music4Aliens, supported at major festivals by artists like Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, and Dubfire.
In 2022 he began to be even more present as a music producer. Of course, his exceptional talent didn't go unnoticed; obtaining various placings in the top 100 Techno Peak Charts and various Top 10 Techno Releases and Top 100 Overall.
In 2022 he started his side project, AKA the Alien, for faster techno, making his debut on DSR Digital (with all the tracks of the EP in the Top 100 Hard Techno tracks chart, Supported by Richie Hawtin and PETDuo to name a few) and further releasing on his own imprint Music4Aliens Black, obtaining various placements in various categories of the techno charts.
Playing his music Richie Hawtin became a bridge of contact between Giancarlo and the electronic scene crowds from when he stopped djing. Blocked for several years by health problems (which mostly led him, with great sacrifice, to be a label manager and producer), he is finally back in the underground techno scene as a DJ, as in the past he has well demonstrated that he has exceptional skills.

The first Albanian Soundsystem Connection, Cagiva Soundsystem and , opened a new chapter for all of us. It brought together a vibrant community, celebrating our shared culture through music.
