The story of Narkotek began in 1996 when Seno, Guigoo, Weser and Kefran first met. In the same year they discovered the free party. Their first raves made them want to become players of this underground movement. In 1998, they started to organize free parties in the Paris area. Their music was a mixture of hip- hop and hardtek as well as drum'n' bass sounds. They became addicts of mixing and started composing their own music, which they shared with their audience. Narkotek music is synonymous with innovation in totally tribe style : constant beats, scratching and melodies of piano. They released their first vinyl “Narkotek 01” in 2000, the first of a long and successful series. In 2004 Narkotek recorded their first cd album “Free party is not a crime”, which included songs that were composed between 2002 and 2004. This was followed by the release of a double cd album ‘Made in Tekos’ in 2006. The last album by Guigoo “Narkotek Revolution”was released in 2010, showing that the Narkotek sound stands the test of time. Today Seno, Weser and Guigoo continue to play their powerful lives in European clubs and in popular festivals with a style of their own : Guigoo's oniric melodies, Seno's galloping rythms and Weser's heavy bass.
