The vibrant Carnaval de Águilas marks the opening of the 2025 bodypainting season! 🌟 Set against the backdrop of Spain’s warm and welcoming coast, this exciting event invites talented artists from around the globe to compete and showcase their breathtaking creations.

The jury will include the esteemed Alex Barendregt, President of the World Bodypainting Association and Director of the World Bodypainting Festival, lending his expertise and authority to this extraordinary event.

Beside the WBA Contest at the last weekends Bodypainting Festival in HVAR we also had there a day on the island to chill and paint free outside of rules and jury!
The weather was first hot then windy and by the time of the photo shooting the sky was epic.

Here are some shots from some of the artsits and models. Unfortuntely not all were captured by Alex Barendregt but our fellow crew photographers will be ready soon with the second batch.

The Bodypainting Festival HVAR 2024 came to an end.

We had two amazing days with our artists and models, we all had so much fun together painting, swimming, dancing, performing, and just enjoying beautiful Croatia!

Thanks to our dear supporters the Hvar Tourism Board Visithvar Hvar Tourist Board and local organizer Lorena .hvar for the hospitality and dedication to art of bodypainting!

Join us for the next WBA event, the Bodypainting Festival HVAR taking place in June, 8th and 9th 2024 with some new programs.

A very relaxed atmosphere along with body painting you can't get anywhere than on the beautiful island Hvar.
I share some images from the last year and this year we have another bonus, there is a bodypainting competition with really good prizes:
Under the theme“World Ocean Day” there are 2 categories- Classical and Open with a 3.500 Euro cash prize money.

Second day fun painting in the private island, transfer and catering is provided as well as water fun activities and a wonderful sun set photoshooting with your model.
