Sports and especially racing cars have always been a synonym for technical development and innovation. The past decades saw amazing innovations ensuring excitement. Nowadays a new type of fuel is showing up - Sustainable Fuels. From 2024 on every car racing the Gaisbergrennen will get 20 litres of E-Fuel by our partner P1 Fuels for free if voluntarily wanted. Let us create continuity for our beloved historic cars that will always be icons of development and innovation.

Cars are meant to be driven, aren´t they?
Even though classic cars have become high-valued objects their initial purpose is being driven. Gaisbergrennen provides the optimal routes not too long but also not to short, not to fast but also not too slow to ensure an appropriate drive for your classic sports or race car.
We have some amazing news for you! Next year we will host our own class for young car enthusiasts under the age of 35 years who want to participate in our event called "Junge Gipfelstürmer". Therefore managed to radically reduce the price thanks to all our magnificent sponsors. Furthermore, P1 Fuels one of the world´s most innovative and leading producer of E-Fuels will be providing 20 liters of E-Fuel for each car participating in our event on a voluntary base. So do not forget to register for next year´s edition of our Gaisbergrennen from 30 May to 1 June 2024 at Salzburg!

...did you know that we are also hosting another classic car event???
It´s called the "Salz & Öl" which is a classic car rallye for cars built up to the year 1985. The event will take place from 20th to 21st October 2023 at Salzburg. It will be a challenging rallye for both driver and codriver containing of night driving and some tricky navigation tasks. That´s the very spirit of rallying like it was back in the 50s and 60s!! So what are you waiting for? There are still some places left! You´ll find more information on our website as mentioned in our bio. Ready, set, go!

what a feeling - being on a ractrack
On Saturday our participants will drive at the racetrack near Salzburg. The track is a very fast course with a lenght of 4.255 kilometres. Our regularity system is also valid here.

On the day after the Salzburg City Grand Prix we will host the famous at the which is the local mountain of Salzburg city. Two runs will be done on friday, another one on saturday.
Ditto all our stations the drivers try to attain identical times at all three runs up the hill to not collect much penalty points.

After gathering together at the Residenzplatz at the heart of Salzburg’s old town the participants are ready to hit the track with their classic cars for the Salzburg City Grand Prix. The Grand Prix consists of five rounds on a closed road at the old town around Salzach river where everybody tries to reach identical times at all rounds to get as few penalty points as possible in the ranking.

Before entering the track of the City Grand Prix at Salzburg’s old town all the participating cars are getting technically checked at the palace and receive their starting number. Like at all stations of the Gaisbergrennen the entry to this beautiful palace is free and accessible to everyone who is interested in great historic cars as well as their drivers.🏰🏎️🎤🏁
