„Stonerhead let groove your brains tonight“ was founded in May of 2011 as a hobby. After a lot of positive feedback and demand it started to function as a label and booking agency with the focus on international underground-bands in the Stonerrock-, Doom-, Sludge- and Psychrockgenre. In simple terms it is about several subtypes of the classic Rock, which is sometimes playful, groovy slow and dragg
ing or totally progressive. A very wide spectrum of sincere and straight music played in best quality. On the internet site we publish newcomer band-, festival- or record reviews from all regions worldwide, interviews with various artists, live photographs and insider-news several times a week. The concert series “Stonerheadletgrooveyourbrainstonight” takes place Austria-wide in unsteady intervals and gives unknown bands the chance to climb the stage and rock with others. Because of sponsors and other support the organization is able to pay a little fee and thus support the bands. The internet site has a lot of visits as well as the events have a growing attendance. This is how we face up to music commerce, the harassment by radio stations, the brutal media brainwash and try to confront the people with alternative musical possibilities.
