He was a great magic teacher and had such an influence on our work… 😢😢😢

Some people have the power to change lives. To make a real difference. Such a man was Eberhard Riese. He was a school teacher by profession, but his passion was the art of magic. His influence on stage magic in Germany and around the world is immense. He directed Grand Prix and World Champion acts. His mind can be studied in his work “Foundations” which outlines his pragmatic approach to creating original magic. He literally devoted his life to the art form.
Words can hardly express what “Ebs” means to me personally. He is a foundation of my life, my whole life and every part of it.
This magic world is not the same without Ebs. We miss him dearly.

Eberhard Riese hat mein Leben verändert. Er war mein Mentor, mein Vorbild und mein väterlicher Freund bis zuletzt. 42 Jahre hat er mich begleitet, beraten und inspiriert. Ebs hat meine berufliche Laufbahn und mein privates Glück ermöglicht. Ich begreife erst ganz langsam, dass er nun nicht mehr da ist.
Lieber Ebs, ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob Ihr Insta habt im Himmel... – aber ich danke Dir für alles, was Du für uns getan hast. Du weißt, dass wir Dich immer in unseren Herzen behalten werden.
