Life is full of wonderful surprises for which one hopes to be prepared to handle things with dignity, professionalism, love and respect for the magnificent art of opera.😍
I am really very happy that Oper Klosterneuburg has decided in favour of my husband Peter Edelmann as Artistic Director of this magnificent, much loved and much followed Opera Festival.
I am sure that Peter will continue to delight the audiences of Klosterneuburg, Lower Austria and the Viennese who have followed the editions of the previous directors so faithfully and lovingly.👏🏻❤️

Das Leben ist voller wunderbarer Überraschungen, auf die man hofft, mit Würde, Professionalität, Liebe und Respekt für die großartige Kunst der Oper vorbereitet zu sein.😍

🍂🥮🍄‍🟫Personally I find it very hard to get used to the idea that summer is over and so are the days of warmth, sun and light.

However, autumn is the month when we put the bale in and reap the harvest that we have cultivated in the preceding months.🌾

Actually, the study of singing and the mastery of the instrument requires a continuous adjustment that you can only do with a teacher or coach. 👌🎼🎶🎹
The body changes over the years and also undergoes modifications as you incorporate roles into your repertoire.

☺️Yes, I know it's all very expensive, but think that in other professions where you work as an entrepreneur in your own business or as a free lancer we all have to invest in acquiring more knowledge and adapting to changes.

✍️👩🏻‍💻Calculate a part of your budget to keep paying your coachers. If you organise yourself properly and know how to keep track of your budget, you will be able to do so.

You want to motivate yourself by telling people what you want to start or what you intend to start.
Starting something is easy, continuing it is much more difficult.
if you continually announce what you start but not what you finish, you will lose credibility.😰

🌹Don't feel guilty, most of the things we started we didn't finish because we were wrong or didn't find a reason to continue them.

It happens to all of us.

However, I do recommend that you should have a serious profile of yourself that only talks about what you have managed to complete.

You will see that by setting the goal of publishing or saying what you have accomplished will help you to continue to do so.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

If you will be auditioning or competing in the next keep in mind that you should focus on those five Arias that present you best.👌🎶

Once you have chosen your audition repertoire with the help of your Coaches❤️, concentrate and practice daily.

Don't forget that these arias you will be able to sing them in the worst conditions😰😳🤯: stress, stage panic, pianists who don't know your
timing or your arias, a contemptuous or tired jury... etc.

This is my ideas of Ikigai ⬇️ for Musicians and Opera Singers🌹

➡️ What is Ikigai?

**Ikigai** is a Japanese 🇯🇵concept that translates to “a reason for being” or “a reason to wake up in the morning.” It represents the intersection of four key elements in life:

1️⃣. **What You Love (Your Passion):** Activities and pursuits that you are passionate about and enjoy deeply.
2️⃣. **What You Are Good At (Your Craft):** Skills and talents that you have developed and excel in.
3️⃣. **What the World Needs (Your Audience):** The needs and desires of others that you can address or fulfill.
4️⃣. **What You Can Be Paid For (Your Earnings):** Opportunities for earning income from your skills and passions.

No one knows better what you want and desire than you. Sometimes you are unable to recognize your true motives and where you want to go.

🙌🏻Singing teachers,🙌🏻coaches and 🙌🏻agents want your evolution but are also incapable of an impartial judgment because of personal and economic interests.
