In association with Fair Play Concerts, Songwriting Austria and Sad Opera Entertainment - we are currently looking for a new home. The Acoustic Room is a live platform that promotes & supports Singer/Songwriters in Vienna and beyond. Run with with the input and support of Jetzt and the Vienna Songwriting Circle (VSC), helps develop and support Songwriting and Songwriters in and around Vienna. It i

s fastly becoming an important platform in Vienna's ever growing Singer/Songwriting scene. Run as a monthly event in Jetzt, Vienna's 17th district, The Acoustic Room is a live platform where we present and promote artists and writers from within the VSC and beyond. Each event generally consists of three Songwriters, all having twenty minutes to perform original material and their set to a quiet, focused, attentive room; with each event in turn being promoted by the VSC and our members by way of our social media pages. The Acoustic Room also encourages developing performers as well as acts passing through Vienna to come and play one of the cities coolest and most comfortable venues. Only recently the VSC along with Jetzt and The Acoustic Room hosted Jambus; a songrwiting crew from Paris, France. This event marked our first live international songwriting performance collaboration and was a resounding success. Vienna Songwriting Circle:

Formed in February 2015 by Irish Singer/Songwriter Shane Ó Fearghail, the Vienna Songwriting Collective (VSC) was formed to bring together Songwriters based in Vienna and surrounds. The idea was to share common goals, network, discuss as well as provide a platform to support and collaborate, not just within the circle but beyond; Our focus being to develop a professional group that can also create and write songs to order as well as produce musical material for commercial, creative and common release; whether it be local or international. SCHOTTENFEST CONNECTIONS 2019 BEGINS.

The Acoustic Room crew are delighted to announce that Schottenfest is here again folks... and it's starting with a soft opening concert in the arte Hotel Wien Stadthalle at the The Artists Place. Schottenfest presents Janek Pentzt - the fantastic Guitar Fingerstyle player form Poland and the incredible Antonia Wernig on Uileann Pipes. Show starts 20:00 approx. Spaces are limited.

Another fantastic evening at The Acoustic Room. Thanks to our wonderful acts for an intimate evening of new songs and special moments at. To all the crew at Jetzt and of course all of you who came out for both November Acoustic Rooms. Two full houses in under one week. Hats off and full. Danke schoen.
