etion of a two-phase, $397M redevelopment, which saw it emerge as one of the world's most modern, flexible and technologically advanced meetings and event spaces. Beyond its state-of-the-art facilities and first-class service, the ACC is known for its commitment to creative cuisine and sustainability. The venue was judged 'Australia's Best' for banqueting and catering at the 2018 Meetings & Events Australia National Awards on the back of launching its innovative 'Honest Goodness' menu. When it comes to sustainability, the ACC cemented its global leadership position in 2018 by becoming the world's first convention centre to achieve EarthCheck's coveted Platinum Certification reflecting 10 consecutive years of best practice in business and environmental sustainability. Our latest EarthCheck audit recognises Adelaide Convention Centre as leading the Australian business events industry when it comes to minimising waste to landfill, water conservation, reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. But, we’re not stopping there! We appreciate there is more to do and are always on the lookout for new initiatives in this space as we work as a team, and with our clients, to reduce event footprints and support a better tomorrow.

At Adelaide Convention Centre, we’re proud to be a major driver of South Australia's visitor economy. In 2023/2024, we had the pleasure of hosting 120 major conferences, bringing more than 40,000 interstate and international business tourists to Adelaide; generating 270,000 room nights for local hotels; and injecting $210 million into our visitor economy. And there’s plenty more to come!

The South Australian Tourism Awards program, delivered annually by Tourism Industry Council South Australia - TICSA with the support of the South Australian Government through the South Australian Tourism Commission, recognises business excellence and outstanding achievement in the state’s tourism industry.

Australia's premier space industry event - the 17th Australian Space Forum - kicked off at Adelaide Convention Centre yesterday, bringing together the best and brightest from Australia's space industry and around the world 🚀

Hosted by The Andy Thomas Space Foundation and supported by the Australian Space Agency and South Australian Space Industry Centre, the forum provides a platform to stimulate ideas, share information about emerging technologies, and network with influential space sector leaders and the broader community.

It’s always a great honour to host this event, not to mention a wonderful showcase and celebration of South Australia’s global leadership in this sector and our innovative space ecosystem!

Today marks the start of National Reconciliation Week (27 May - 3 June). We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the land where we work and gather, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

This morning, we were honoured to play host to the 2024 National Reconciliation Week Breakfast - presented by Reconciliation South Australia. Marking the the launch of National Reconciliation Week here in South Australia, the event drew a packed house with over 2,800 guests in attendance to hear from an array of speakers on this year’s theme ‘Now More Than Ever’, and enjoy a series of impressive performances.

The creativity of our talented kitchen team certainly knows no limit, as they transformed the kitchen into a dining room setting for the lunchtime experience, before converting it back into full operational mode to serve dinner for 2,000 guests that evening.
