Set at the heart of the Adelaide Riverbank Precinct, the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) stages everything from national and international conferences and exhibitions to cocktail parties, major outdoor events, launches, breakfasts, banquets board meetings and more. Opened in 1987 as Australia's first purpose-built convention centre, the venue celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2017 with the compl

etion of a two-phase, $397M redevelopment, which saw it emerge as one of the world's most modern, flexible and technologically advanced meetings and event spaces. Beyond its state-of-the-art facilities and first-class service, the ACC is known for its commitment to creative cuisine and sustainability. The venue was judged 'Australia's Best' for banqueting and catering at the 2018 Meetings & Events Australia National Awards on the back of launching its innovative 'Honest Goodness' menu. When it comes to sustainability, the ACC cemented its global leadership position in 2018 by becoming the world's first convention centre to achieve EarthCheck's coveted Platinum Certification reflecting 10 consecutive years of best practice in business and environmental sustainability. We were proud to play host to 'Destination South Australia' today - South Australia's premier business events showcase by Business Events Adelaide.

Our General Manager, Sarah Goldfinch along with the team were excited to reconnect with key clients from across Australia to showcase how Adelaide Convention Centre brings people, place and experience all together to deliver unforgettable business events.

Among highlights, guests were treated to a 'taste of South Australia', with a delicious menu prepared by Executive Chef Gavin Robertson and his team, while the Hon. Zoe Bettison MP, Minister for Tourism greeted delegates and highlighted how Adelaide is a city made for events.

To all who visited, safe travels home! We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

This morning Adelaide Convention Centre played host to Australia's largest event celebrating International Women's Day - the Adelaide IWD Breakfast, supporting UN Women Australia! 💜

Hosted by Senator Penny Wong, with special guest speaker Rachel Perkins and MC Sonya Feldhoff, the breakfast welcomed 3,100 attendees, with more tuning in virtually, to celebrate, inspire and 'march forward' towards gender equality.

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM), proud operators of Adelaide Convention Centre, is pleased to unveil its all-new Community Impact Program, as it builds on its commitment to be a 'force for good' in the global events industry 💚

The program – an extension of AVM's ESG strategy, The Green Print – has been designed to maximise the organisation's social impact across four key areas - Community, Environment, First Nations and Goods Donation, while also helping inspire, educate and support event organisers in leaving lasting event legacies in South Australia.

As part of the program launch, AVM has named Operation Flinders Foundation as its principal community partner, with affiliate members including Trees For Life (SA), Reconciliation South Australia and Vinnies Australia. The program also pledges AVM's ongoing support to local food redistribution centres such as Faithworks, Foodbank SA & Central Australia, Hutt St Centre and OzHarvestSA.

⚠️ Advance notice: Riverbank Car Park works

Please be advised that lifts in Adelaide Convention Centre's Riverbank Car Park will be out of service on Tuesday, 7 January due to maintenance work. For guests requiring lift access, we recommend parking in our North Terrace Car Park or calling 08 8210 6770 for assistance.

Additionally, please note, access to the Riverbank Car Park via L4 will be closed from 7 to 9 January inclusive. Please follow Festival Drive to the main entry of the Riverbank Car Park for access during this time.
