The Courtyard of Curiosities

The Courtyard of Curiosities An exciting kid on the venue hub block. Returning to Adelaide Fringe in 2025 for our third year - with 60 shows! We are at 82 Kintore Avenue, Adelaide SA 5000.

You can find us at the Migration Museum on Kintore Avenue and the State Library of South Australia on North Terrace. Migration Museum is a venue on Kintore Avenue with two theatre spaces to come see shows during the Adelaide Fringe 2023 - Yurt and Chapel. There is a nice courtyard which will include a food and beverage offering and seating outside for before and after shows. The Yurt is a hand-bui

lt traditional wood and canvas circular structure with a great feel and lovely atmosphere. It is a sixty seat venue that can be set 'in the round' or in 'theatre-style row seating'. The Chapel is a bluestone building - it is a sixty seat venue with theatre-style row seating. This is the first time The Yurt and The Chapel have been Adelaide Fringe venues at the Migration Museum. We are very excited about being a new little hub in the city’s East End for intimate theatre, clowning, comedy, and music. The Chapel & Yurt is brought to you by Nick Phillips & Britt Plummer

2023 Adelaide Fringe program is on sale now!

Spotlight on a couple of our American clowns Chase Brantley and Darius Emadi! 🇺🇸 You may also spot each of them in each other’s shows. They are a great double act!

🌟 Don Toberman: Ping Pong Champ at 6.50pm (+ 2.20pm on Saturday 22nd)

This Award-Winning clown spectacle spoofs all things sports. Witness history as Don Toberman (played by Chase Brantley) attempts to become the world’s most decorated ping-pong player. Facing off against the entire audience, he must win 21 points before he can claim this title. When his newest sponsor, Bolt Boost Energy Drink, unveils their latest product, things quickly head for disaster during this absurd, physical clown comedy.

🌟Darius Emadi: Mixtape at 10.40pm in the Gallery

Self-renowned romantic hero Darius Emadi seeks to capture your heart and leave a lasting mark on your soul. With grand displays of talent, poetry, and audacious bravery, Darius Emadi beckons you on an impossible quest for love, fame, and eternal glory, attempting to seduce not only his ideal love, but his entire audience.
