Hi 👋
Just me in my natural habitat! For all the new faces here and start to 2025, I’m Gemma and I am the creator + director of Moonchild Creative, Moonchild Blooms + Petal + Pour.
A little bit about me - I’m a ‘92 Cancerian Baby (hence the name Moonchild) and I have three littles aged 4, 2 and 1.
By trade I am actually a solicitor, I have a background in marketing + comms and floristry + design has always been my side passion project. I have an Italian background, I did part of my schooling in Northern Italy where most of my paternal family live including my dad, I love cooking and cleaning as a way of relieving stress (don’t @ me!), I was an R&B gal in my millenial prime and my kids equally listen to Bluey + Disney songs (also a huge disney gal!) as they do Italian music + 2000s limewire vibes (pretty ricky I see youuu!). My husband is Greek and my children have the beauty of both cultures ✨ The only thing I ever really wanted to do or be more than anything was a mother and through endo + adeno I was beyond grateful to be thrice blessed 🤎🤎
8 years ago I started creating events for my PR clients and with my side gig in floristry, I’d put everything together. During covid when I was pregnant with my first daughter I decided to give this an, ‘all in’. Fast forward another 3 years and 2024 saw us start petal + pour, hone in on our floral, stationery + styling options and get ourselves a studio at .

What are expecting for the year ahead?
CRAZILY we have booked three weddings across Italy + Greece in June & July 😍😍
More petal + pour and floral workshops for hens, bridal showers, intimate functions, corporate and flower crowns for kids.
More stationery and custom creations 🎀

We love creative moments, corporate shoots + working with professionals like Claudia. Us + the creative team at + had Claudia (and an impromptu appearance by who was just trying to chill and be supportive 🤣) had Claudia go from outfit to scene change so quickly and she was able to pivot, completely change her hair and look within minutes and was so accomodating to every which way we had her stand, look and lay 🤣❤️🥀

Stefano’s Baptism ✨

When it came to celebrating her third child’s intimate baptism, our director Gemma found the perfect balance between being a present mother and bringing her creative vision to life. With a little help from her trusted industry friends, the event was nothing short of stunning.

From the custom-designed stationery, concepts, and colour palette to the unique items like vases and candle holders, everything was carefully curated and sketched by Gemma and inventory . Stationery was printed via .

The beautiful bonbonierie were selected from and the gorgeous personalised ribbons and the cross cake topper put together by the immensely talented .creative ✨🤍

slaying another cake 🥹🤍 and the incredible making Stefano’s baptismal box pulled into the event’s curated look down to the last detail //

On-the-day florals and styling executed by the flawless .lia, ensuring everything looked picture-perfect within Gemma’s vision, while captured every moment beautifully.

The Roman plinths from added a timeless elegance, and the bow-tied balloons at the morning celebrations by tied everything together for a dreamy atmosphere with .kitchen providing the perfect backdrop.

We’re so grateful for the talented team that made Stefano’s special day one to remember! 💫

We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing Anthea’s wedding day to life next week! 💍✨ But first, let’s talk about her stunning bridal shower, where we had the absolute honour of transforming the bridesmaids’ creative vision into a *Pinterest-worthy* reality! 😍 From florals and props to custom graphics, signage, and the most dreamy palette and placemats, we were able to bring our touch to nearly every part of the day.

✨ Dana + Matt’s Wedding Magic ✨

Meet Dana and Matt—a love story that started on an overseas trip and brought them back to Adelaide for their big day. From Melbourne to Adelaide, we designed their wedding vision over phone calls and a few visits with their little boy in tow.

But just TWO WEEKS before the wedding, things took a wild turn... we lost the venue! 😱 While we always prepare for bumps in the road, this one threw us a curveball!

With the bride and groom unable to fly down early, we called in favours from our amazing industry friends, and magic happened. We secured a dreamy outdoor venue at Sunnybrae, redesigned the entire day, and pulled together an event even more beautiful than Plan A, B, or C could have been. 💫
