Classical Mystery Tour was a Beatlemania journey like no other, a tribute to the incredible soundtrack from The Beatles 1967 - Magical Mystery Tour.

A special thanks to our musicians and everyone who made Classical Mystery Tour the success that it was. Thank you to the and for making the show possible.

'The sound is excellent and production values are high. It is also reassuring to see multi-talented musician Julian Ferraretto conduct the 15-piece orchestra. The combination of a rock band with an orchestra works a treat – as it should, for the Beatles frequently combined rock/pop with orchestral instruments and elements.'

Between Feb 18 and March 6, David Minear, producer of last year’s Fringe show Classic Bruce, promises to take die-hard Beatles fans – and those curious to find out more – on a Classical Mystery Tour. An all-Adelaide 21 piece rock band and orchestra will take on The Beatles hit-laded 1967 album Magical Mystery Tour. 🎶

DID YOU KNOW?

On this day in 1964, The Beatles upended pop culture forever with their inaugural US TV appearance. This event broke the record for the most watched show in US TV history at the time, and was a symbolic part of the Fab Four's shift from English sensations to global domination.

History is blessed to repeat itself from February 18 for 11 magical shows only at Gluttony during the 2022 Adelaide Fringe.

Concerned that the newly invented sport of basketball was too taxing on older men, local YMCA director of physical education debuts his new invention, Mintonette, on February 9, 1895.
