The last few months has been a roller coaster of emotions for us but after careful consideration, we’ve decided to let go of our sweet little business to someone else who is interested taking her to the next level!

You probably might want to consider these ideas for your ceremony. Feel free to add all your tested and trusted ones below too.

✨ Curve chairs for more intimate feel

This one is so important! Taking the time to set the chairs up in a slight semi-circle can make a huge difference in the intimacy of the wedding ceremony. Trust me, I’ve seen it both ways, and although it’s very subtle, it does make a difference.

✨Unnecessary to reserve front row

It used to be that you had to reserve the front row for parents and important family members, but that’s no longer the case. From my experience, guests are so careful not to take seats away from family members, that they avoid the first two or three rows. While reserving the front row isn’t entirely necessary, you’ll definitely want to reserve the second or third rows if you have important people assigned to sit in them. Otherwise, don’t worry about this tiny detail.

✨ Curve weddings party so they can witness the moment

Rather than standing in a straight line and staring at the back of the head of the person in front of them, having the wedding party stand in a slight curve to ensure they can see their person (brides/grooms) will allows them to be active witnesses to your marriage and to be energetically participating in the ceremony.

PRO TIP: If you have a large wedding party, you’ll need to make sure the first row of chairs is far enough back to allow for the slight curve.

✨Adjust dress if necessary

Most maids-of-honor know to adjust the bride’s dress when she finishes walking down the aisle, but you may want to prompt her (or him for men-of-honor) to adjust the dress any time it’s needed during the ceremony and right before the recessional. It’s a lovely little gesture and keeps the dress looking fabulous throughout the entire ceremony.

Here’s what I think is funny about this joke 😂😂😂

This joke combines two well-known but contradictory expectations. The first one is LOVE IS BLIND. This saying can be taken on so many levels but in general, it means when you first fall in love or are smitten or struck by love, the emotions are so powerful that you don’t or can’t see the shortcomings of the person you’re in love with. A ”shortcoming” is a nicer way to describe “fault”. Some of these have to do with behaviours, others are more about appearances.

But then, a strange thing happens when people get married, the EYE OPENER. This is the perfect opposite of blindness. When your eyes are shut or closed, you can see anything but when you open them, suddenly everything becomes clear. You can also relate this experience to a rude awakening whereby you’re rudely interrupted by a loud noise during your sound sleep.

This is what marriage does; not right away ofcourse. You are entitled to a honeymoon, but then you both go back to work and life resumes its normal pace and you start seeing the other person more completely. All those things that you thought were so interesting or cute about your beloved might become annoying, especially if they are in conflict with your own values and interests.

BUT here's where the real test of love comes in. After you've discovered all the warts on your partner and vice versa, you
realize that you really have more in common than not. You learn to compromise, stop trying to change the other person and
begin to live in harmony. You've grown up and learned what true love really means. Then kids come along and ALL HELL
BREAKS LOOSE.

And THAT's what's so funny!

✨ITS OUR ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!✨

On this day one year ago I officially took over Adelaide Wedding Ceremonies. Since then it’s been a crazy whirlwind of growth and success that wouldn’t be possible without our incredible clients.

I thought I should take this moment to re-introduce myself again since you don’t see much of my face on here! My name is Dami and I’m the owner & creative designer here . I feel so blessed to do this as a job and can’t thank everyone enough. 🥺

I'd like to personally thank all our beautiful past & prospective brides, without you I wouldn’t be here today. (What’s a business without a customer anyway 😂). We’re so fortunate to have worked with different couples from different parts of the world. While national, cultural, and social perceptions of a “proper” wedding my vary from one couple to the other, one aspect remains universal; weddings are a union of two people and a celebration of love!

Xuxa & James on their beautiful wedding day featuring our Red Rose Arch.

This amazing couple sure holds a special place in our heart mainly because we started planning their wedding even before the bride’s arrival to Australia. Lots of voice & video calls all the way from the Philippines 🇵🇭. 😂

This level of trust does mean a lot to us and we’re glad that we kept the expectations very high with our creative styling. It also shows how relaxed our couples are when they let us handle their ceremony styling.

As we round up the wedding season, we can’t begin to describe how amazing it has been for us here considering, it’s our first year since we officially became the new owner and we’re so proud of how far we’ve come.

Gemelle & Mathew | 10th October 2021 On this day, the10th October 2021, we have the pleasure of styling the ceremony of Gemelle & Matthew. We met the bride about a month ago and we discussed their views and ideas of what will be their dream Oceanview ceremony. The colour palette for this ceremony is a dusty rose accent, complemented with cream colour. Also, there’s a bit of white, a touch of light pink and some greenery. The colours symbolises love, affection, tranquility, and timeless elegance. The couple have chosen the cruising yacht club of South Australia as their venue. The beautiful marina is the most romantic backdrop with the sun dancing in the water and dolphins playing in the sea. It truly was a magical space. Our customised rose floral band with white swagging is just sitting pretty on top of the Rotunda. The view is just so hard to beat. We also get to witness as Jen Attard of By My Side Celebrant captured the beautiful love story of the couple. We feel so fortunate to be able to do what we do and create such a beautiful space for a truly special celebration Congratulations Gemelle & Matthew and thank you for choosing us.
