Early this morning the event page for our Forbidden Forest Label Launch Party was taken down. Facebook cited "Cyber Security Issues" as their reason for removing the event.

After doing some research, it appears that FB has incorrectly flagged any event or content related to the Humanit*x platform as a cyber security threat. Because of this, hundreds of events around Australia have been simultaneously disrupted.

In a time when live music and events are hurting more than ever, its a real shame to see how social media companies put the entertainment industry last on their list of priorities.

As with most large, multi-national corporations, there is no way to contest the removal of these events, or to contact the support team in any real way to discuss a way forward.

The irony of this is that scam accounts, bots and fake ticket sellers are so, so rampant on this platform - and yet its events promoters and patrons - and not the people doing the scamming - who are time and time again punished.

In spite of all this, we're still going on, stronger than ever!

We're currently in contact with the guys from Humanit*x and we'll keep you updated as things progress - thanks y'all

Times are tough, the cost of living has been rising exponentially, and unfortunately live entertainment and nights out are something that's quickly moving further and further out of reach for the average person.

I sincerely believe that going out, dancing and socializing with your friends is a quintessential part of what makes us human, and its been a part of our cultural DNA since we discovered fire (and maybe even before that)

I've intentionally priced these first couple rounds of tickets as cheap as I could - because I wanted to make it affordable for anyone to come and check out the show regardless of their personal financial situation.

We're now down to the last few of these cheap tickets, but even if they sell out - if you genuinely want to come party with us, but feel limited by your finances in any way, please get in touch and I'll find a way to make it happen - because when I was in the same situation, people made it happen for me.

A prophecy that predicts cataclysm - and the end of mankind as we know it. Forest creatures and men alike fear the coming age of darkness, and seek to extend the age of sunlight indefinitely.

But the thread of fate, once carefully woven into reality - cannot be altered by man or beast alike.

Our first Forbidden Forest artist is ENLIL -

A mythical monster of the Mid North Coast who produces a unique mix of dark, melodic DnB and Halftime that blends numerous influences into a psychedelic stew that defies classification.

He's played across NSW and Victoria at some of the best underground festivals Australia has to offer, bringing his unique style of forward-thinking dance music to audiences far and wide

We'll be releasing his first single with us early next week as the first release of the Forbidden Forest label!

Holy cow - We have all been completely blown away by the response from y'all!

We just cracked 1000 follows, with over 75 people added in a single day.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to invite your friends - it's been so great seeing so many people supporting live, local music.

We've got a lot of great events, music and production announcements coming up over the next few weeks so stay tuned, stay weird and have a lovely long weekend!

After a nice, long hibernation the Forbidden Forest is about to reawaken, but we need your help!

The biggest way you can help us right now is by inviting your friends to like and follow our page.

All the forest critters have been hard at work leveling up our production and searching high and low for the very best electronic music - as we prepare to launch our new record label!

We've gathered a really great selection of forward thinking, underground tunes from some of our favorite local and interstate producers and we want to make sure as many people as possible get to hear what these talented creators have been cooking up!

Unfortunately, Facebook and Instagram are both stacked against us. Its never been harder to promote music on these platforms, but we aren't going to let that stop us from getting the good stuff out to you, the people.

We've always believed in the power of grassroots, collective action and know that together, humanity can achieve almost anything!

If you have the time, please make an effort to go to our page and invite your friends to like / follow us. Every little bit helps get the word out, and by doing so, you help support live, local music at a time when its needed most.

After the success of New Year's Eve, we wanted to create a platform to help highlight and showcase all of the talented DJs and producers who helped make the event so special!
