1800 Mama Claire Parsons - Marriage Celebrant here 👋 This is me and my forever bae 💘

A big part of the inspiration behind 1800 Weddings was my wedding to my rhinestone cowboy.

We got married young and very broke, without a clue about weddings - I don't think I'd been to one since I was a kid. We decided we wanted to get married in two months. My mum gave us five grand - the most money we'd ever had! But it wasn't long until we realised five grand doesn't get you far in the wedding world...

We just wanted to get hitched with all our mates and have a party. I couldn't have given less of a f**k about the headache of planning a wedding.

When I came across package wedding deals, they seemed like the solution but there was no "alternative" alternative for two young punks.

Our wedding day was lovely, but when I look at the piccies I wish there was less burlap and mason jars and more something like this.

1800 Weddings is the ALTERNATIVE alternative. Inclusive, accessible and thoroughly not s**t weddings from $2995 for up to 120 guests.
